Lisnafunchin National School is a rural elementary school located in the heart of the Conahy Parish community, just 6km from Castlecomer. We are 15 minutes from Kilkenny City. As a small school, we pride ourselves on providing a personalized and nurturing learning environment for our students.

Our History
Founded in 1922, the school of Lisnafunchin has long been serving the community, from its founding to its present-day commitment to academic excellence.
Classrooms
We have a Junior Classroom(Junior Infants to Second Class). We have a Senior Classroom(Third to Sixth.) Have a query about Multigrade Teaching? Please get in touch. It is an effective form of teaching.

We offer an After School Club for Junior and Senior Infants from 1:30-2:30 to enable families with siblings to have the one collection.
